If the dynamic styling of Vauxhall’s VXR range inspires you, but your bank manager does not share your enthusiasm, here is some good New Year news from the manufacturer’s accessories store.

Owners of Astra Sport Hatch and five door models can now transform the exterior of their cars with VXR styling packs – and make a substantial saving on the cost of buying all the items in these packs individually.

Available from participating Vauxhall retailers, the pack consists of a front lower spoiler, side sills, rear lower spoiler and roof spoiler. Retailing at £975 for the Astra Sport Hatch and £1080 for the five door, the prices include painting to body colour and fitting.

Similar cost savings for Corsa three and five door owners are also available on the striking Irmscher iS1 styling kit. Retailing at £945, this kit comprises a front lower spoiler, cross hatch grille with ‘i’ logo, roof spoiler, sports silencer with twin round chromed tailpipes and an iS1 badge for the tailgate. The price includes painting and fitting and offers Corsa owners a saving of £240.

Vauxhall car drivers can also take advantage of a special alloy wheels offer currently available from Irmscher, the styling specialists. Massive discounts of 40 per cent are now on offer on selected alloy wheels specially designed by Irmscher to complement the exterior styling of Vauxhall models.

 

Astra owners can enhance the rear end styling of five door Hatchback, Sport Hatch and Estate models with a new trapezoidal exhaust silencer similar to the design fitted as standard to the Astra Sport Hatch VXR. Eight part numbers are available to suit 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 petrol engines, plus 1.7 and 1.9 diesel variants.
