Free seven-level racing game available on VXR website
·
Try a real Sport Hatch at Vauxhall retailers this weekend
Now you can be one of
the first people in Britain
to drive the hot new Astra VXR, and all it takes is the click of a
mouse!
An all-new seven-level racing game is now available on the Vauxhall
website, and it’s highly addictive. It allows you to race against
friends or a computer-controlled rival on a choice of circuits,
which all come complete with obstacles such as jumps, oil slicks,
stray tyres and patches of sticky mud.
As well as the Astra VXR, budding racers can also tackle the seven
tricky tracks in a VXR220 or Monaro VXR, and all have their own
handling and performance characteristics to match the dynamics and
driving excitement of the real production cars.

Once you’ve got used to racing using just the cursor controls on
the keyboard, see if you can make the leader board by posting the
best lap times on the web! Try it for yourself at www.vauxhall.co.uk/vxr,
and join in the thrill of the race!
The game has been launched to coincide with the VX Racing Astra
Sport Hatch debut in the first round of the 2005 British Touring Car
Season, which gets underway on 9 April.
Drivers who prefer to try the real thing can sample a Sport Hatch
for the first time this weekend at Vauxhall retailers. The stylish
new Astra model makes its showroom debut on Saturday, and is being
included in the innovative ‘
Million Mile Drive
’ programme, giving buyers the chance to sample Vauxhall driving
excitement on a three day test drive.
